ABOUT US
The objectives of the Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Association (S.W.I.F.A.) are:

To promote, encourage, and develop the sport of collegiate fencing in the southwest parts (TX, OK, NV, LA) of the United States.

To provide collegiate only competitions in the region.

To act as a training venue for students to learn how to participate in (USFA) tournaments.
-
To assist individual member fencers and member teams in reaching their full potential in the sport of fencing, whether as competitors, coaches, armorers, or referees.

MEET THE BOARD
The SWIFA Board consists of members from the fencing community who volunteer their time and are annually elected by the general membership.
(Currently, the position of Technical Adviser is an appointed position by the Board due to its specific requirements.)
This group is responsible for enforcing all the rules and regulations of the organization, and ensuring, to the best of their ability, a fair playing field for all schools.
