Change for Spring Semester 2027

So, lots of changes to our financials for this season, e.g. increased fees and dues. We understand that money is always a huge concern for clubs, and we are earnestly doing our best to minimize your costs per tournament. However, in order to maintain a sufficient operating budget, we need to become better at timely submitting invoice requests if SWIFA is to maintain a sufficient financial balance to operate tournaments. Requesting invoices the day or two before a tournament doesn't allow our Treasurer enough time to generate the invoice so you can submit it to your RecSports Department within one week of the tournament. NOT submitting your invoice for RecSports approval within one week of the tournament is being held to your honor system for the moment, but note that SWIFA has had issues with that.

So, starting Spring Semester 2027 (January to April 2027), invoice requests have to be submitted no later than the Saturday before every tournament.

Submissions happening during the week before the tournament will automatically incur a $75 late fee added to your submitted invoice request.

Changes to your invoice will be honored as long as they let the SWIFA Treasurer, Jadie, know before the tournament. She will change it and send the new one over or refund part of the invoice.
