The Rising Star Circuit is a NEW tournament system that will occur alongside our normally scheduled four conference tournaments. We recognize that it may be unfair to ask schools to send their beginning fencers to a conference tournament knowing that they will not perform as well. We want those fencers to have fun, too, and our normal circuit puts them at a disadvantage. Likewise, we recognize that schools may have to spend more money to have their fencers compete with such a disadvantage. We also want to afford the ability for new referees to practice their skills in an environment that is more respective of a learning environment for everyone.

NOTE: Participating in a Rising Star Circuit event does NOT exclude these schools from participating in any of the conference's tournaments.

The conference will be adding (to start) one RSC tournament per semester. The Rules & Regulations for these tournament will be different than the regular conference tournaments. They are as follows:
-
A fencer cannot have more than 4 semesters worth in fencing in order to participate.
-
