Maestro Gary van der Wege has been elected by Fencing Masters from around the US to serve on the prestigious Certification and Accreditation Board of the US Fencing Coaches Association. The CAB is responsible for the certification of Professional Fencing Coaches in the US at all levels.
USA Fencing nominates Gary M. van der Wege to serve on the IWAS International IWAS Gender Equity Committee. He was subsequently accepted by the IWAS Board of Directors.
The Canadian Fencing Federation has hired on Maestro Gary van der Wege of the USA to help in creating a Para-Coaching Development Program for Canada. Mr. van der Wege had previously created the Para-Coaching Certification Program for the US Fencing Coaches Association.
